Mini BBQ sausages with sweet chili chipotle glaze & fresh carrot salad
Small sausages, big pleasure. These mini BBQ sausages get a nice sticky layer of Oliehoorn Sweet Chili Chipotle sauce. Delicious with a fresh carrot salad and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients (10)
- 500 g mini BBQ sausages
- 150 ml Oliehoorn sweet chili chipotle sauce
- 8 skewers (2 needed per set -> "double skewer")
- 2 stalks of spring onion
- 400 g carrot, grated
- 1 apple finely chopped
- 200 g white cabbage finely sliced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste

Mix the carrot, apple, and white cabbage with olive oil, vinegar, pepper, and salt.

Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Place 2 skewers next to each other and thread the mini-sausages through them horizontally. This way they won’t spin and will grill evenly.

Place the skewers over medium heat and grill them for 10 minutes until they are nicely browned.

Brush the sausages with the Oliehoorn sweet chili chipotle sauce.

Grill for another 2 minutes. Turn and repeat this for a nice sticky layer.

Slice the spring onion into thin rings.

Sprinkle the spring onion over the skewers just before serving.

Serve with Turkish bread or naan.
