  • Oliehoorn Orange Fries Sauce
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • Frying oil

    Cut the chicken breasts into long pieces

    Prepare three separate bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with the breadcrumbs mixed with the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper.

    Bread the chicken: pass each piece of chicken through the flour and shake off the excess flour. Then dip the piece in the egg and let the excess egg drip off. Finally, roll the chicken piece through the breadcrumb mixture. Lightly press the breadcrumbs so that they stay in place.

    Heat enough oil in a large pan to 180°C (350°F).

    Deep-fry the chicken snacks in portions until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Make sure they are well cooked inside.

    Drain the fried chicken nuggets on paper towels to remove excess oil.

    Cut the lemon into wedges.

    Serve the crispy chicken snacks with slices of lemon and the (essential) Fritessaus from Oranje.

    Tip: squeeze a slice of lemon over the chicken snack before you eat it. This way, the flavors will come out even better!
