BBQ-Hawaiian burger with grilled pineapple, curly fries and fry sauce

- 500 g minced beef
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 slices of cheddar
- 4 brioche hamburger buns
- 8 slices of breakfast bacon
- 4 fresh pineapple rings or drained from a can
- 4 leaves of lettuce
- 8 tablespoons Oliehoorn curry sauce
- 1 red onion, in thin rings
- 800 g curly fries
- 8 tablespoons Oliehoorn fries sauce
- Pepper and salt to taste

Mix the minced meat with the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.

Form 4 burgers from the minced meat mixture.

Prepare the curly fries according to the instructions on the packaging in the oven, fryer, or air fryer.

Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.

Grill the bacon until crispy and set aside.

Grill the pineapple rings for about 2 minutes on each side until nice grill marks appear.

Grill the burgers for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. During the last minute, place a slice of cheddar on each burger so that it lightly melts.

Toast the hamburger buns briefly with the cut side down on the barbecue.

Spread the bottom half of the buns with Oliehoorn curry sauce. Top with lettuce, the hamburger, bacon, grilled pineapple, and red onion. Finish with another spoonful of curry sauce and place the top of the bun on it.

Divide the warm curly fries over four plates and serve with a generous portion of Oliehoorn fry sauce.
